These terms represent the standard licensing framework under which articles and other works are granted to third-party commercial entities (as distinct from the default public license, which is CC-BY-NC-ND):
- The work is granted to the requesting party under a CC-BY license. The licensee is therefore permitted any use, including commercial distribution and derivative adaptations (e.g., editorial revisions, audio/video adaptations, translations) without requiring prior approval. The licensee remains solely responsible for any alterations, additions, or corrections made relative to the delivered version, alongside standard editorial liabilities where applicable. The author retains the non-waivable moral right to require retraction of the article for legitimate cause at any time, as guaranteed by copyright law. If the licensee distributes or sublicenses the work in any form, they are required to inform recipients of these terms or provide a direct link to:
https://exedre.org/commercial-license/ - From the date of formal delivery, the licensee has a two-week window in which to publish the work. Following public release, an additional one-week embargo applies, during which the author will refrain from distributing the work elsewhere. After this period expires, the work may be freely disseminated (including commercially) by the author. If published, the author reserves the right to cite the licensee's publication. Conversely, if the licensee fails to publish within the initial two weeks, the embargo period is forfeited and the author is immediately free to republish the work.
These terms are non-negotiable and take effect strictly upon explicit written consent from the author; in all other cases, standard CC-BY-NC-ND restrictions remain fully in effect.
Publication of the work constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these terms.
